Meet Your Therapist: Lee Cruickshank
Hello! My name is Lee Cruickshank, and I am proud to be a lifelong resident of the Garioch area, born and raised in Oldmedrum and residing now in Inverurie.
My journey into Massage Therapy began after I personally discovered the healing benefits of massage when I encountered a back injury at work.
Qualifications
I have completed my training at the Highland School of Massage, earning diplomas in both Swedish Massage and Remedial & Sports Massage through the Scottish Massage Schools. This education equips me with the knowledge and skills to meet the varied needs of my clients effectively.
Passion for Sports and Wellbeing
Having been actively involved in sports my entire life, I understand the physical demands and potential injuries associated with both athletic activities and everyday life. I am a former Scottish squad gymnast who competed in several Junior British Gymnastics Championships and also enjoyed a lengthy football career, playing for various local amateur teams for over 20 years. Recently, I took on running, completing the challenging 4x4x48 (four miles every four hours for 48 hours) in July 2021, raising funds for local charities Hamish Dear’s Warm Hugs and Kayleigh’s Wee Stars.
My experiences in sports have deepened my understanding of flexibility, strength, endurance, and the importance of recovery, making me a better therapist for my clients.
Qualifications
Since 2023, I have dedicated myself to pursuing a career as a massage therapist. I continuously seek opportunities to learn and grow, ensuring that I provide the best possible service to my clients.
